Mixing it up

Hi there my crafty friends.. it's a Wednesday and I had some time to work on a couple of scrapbook pages for my beautiful daughters...

I created this page using some single sheets of paper from Michael's.  I used punched flowers around the pages and used a little acrylic paint to touch up the edges.  I used modeling clay and a stencil to add the "chicken wire" effect to the page.  Recollection flower and border trim around the picture.  Used dragonfly cut out covered with dimensional glue for gloss.

I created this page using some of the same techniques.  I put modeling paste and stencil on the page and spritzed it with tattered angels and home made glimmer mist.  I punched out flowers as well and sprayed them.   I used modeling paste around the picture as well to blend it into the background.  I'm still learning but I'm happy with the outcome of the page.  The page design gave the layout the right amount of color in the background.

On this layout, I used Stampin Up coral blue paper topped it with a purple scalloped piece of light paper.  I curled the edges inward for some dimension. I added a large punched flower to the back of the  matted picture and surrounded the picture with both flowers from Michaels, butterflies,
recollection flowers and a few buttons... I spritzed the entire page with Perfect Pearls Interference Red for the glimmer.    Using rope pearls I adhered them to the page with hot glue... there is a bit of gesso around the picture and sides of the paper to lighten areas.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you all have a wonderful day!
