Hey my crafty friends... A friend of mine posted a question on the difference between shabby chic, vintage and girlie grunge. I would add steampunk into that mix as well. As it was pointed out, they are all ecclectic styles what makes them so different? Which style jumps out at you?
Vintage to me speaks to times gone by, the retro, the dainty... shabby chic conjoure up weatherbeaten, peeling paint, torn edges. Girl grunge, i'm not too sure of and steampunk, from my perspective is much like girlie grunge.
I am intriqued by all the styles...
