Altered Box

I am in love, with altered art projects!  I can't seem to go past a box and not think of what I can do to alter it with paper, flowers, stamps, color anything.  This box is no different.  It started out as a plain box sitting on a shelf in a thrift store and when I saw it, I thought it would make a great keepsake box.. and it just screamed vintage... so that's what I did...

Wooden box
Ciao Bella Paper
Paper Flowers
Crocheted flower leaves
Bling


 I love how it turned out.. It's going to be heading to a friend of mine who has said repeatedly that she would love to have an altered box... I heard you, LOL!

    Very nice! I definitely look at everything differently too! LOL!! It's especially gratifying when you can recycle/repurpose something. I love thrift stores too!
